Et godt arbeidsmiljø er en forutsetning for faglig kvalitet, trygghet og trivsel, og er derfor et viktig område for Bibliotekarforbundet. Bibliotekene skal være åpne for alle, men de må samtidig være gode og trygge arbeidsplasser for de som jobber der.
Høsten 2025 kartla vi bibliotekansattes arbeidsmiljø og trygghet i bibliotek, og oppsummerte funnene i rapporten: Arbeidsmiljø og trygghet i bibliotek: bibliotekansattes opplevelser i møte med publikum.
